"The service we received from Hireaband was exceptional from start to finish. The website was very simple to use and showed which bands were available for our date and allowed us to hear small clips of some of their performances. Both Gaye and Lisa from Hireaband could not have been any more helpful when it came to choosing the band most suited to our style of event which had a very varied audience of musical tastes!
The band selected was Real Easy and they were everything we had hoped for and more! Allan who was our main contact from the band liaised directly with the venue to ensure they had all of the required equipment making the sound checks extremely easy and timely. Real Easy also kindly altered their usual performing times to suit our needs which was very much appreciated! I had so many positive reactions from guests on the evening saying how fantastic the band were and they really did play such a great mix of tunes to suit everyone in the room. Based in Glasgow but regularly performing across Scotland, we've provided live wedding entertainment at some of the country's best hotels and live venues. You name it, we've probably performed there.
Our professional but lively and enthusiastic approach to the music we play is why we're in such demand. We cover the best and most popular songs ever written with a few wee surprises thrown in for good measure. We take pride in knowing how to fill dance floors wherever we're playing. It doesn't matter what age your guests are, we'll play something they'll just have to dance to.
Obviously you'd expect a professional band to sound great, but they also need to know how to have a party. We love what we do and we're all good friends - that really comes across when we're performing for you.
If a live ceilidh section is something you fancy, that's no problem. Real Easy call upon the services of a fabulously talented musician who not only plays a mean fiddle, but also "calls" the dances for those guests a little less confident. Essentially, you're getting two bands for the price of one. There's an additional charge to add live fiddle but it's worth every penny for that authentic Scottish country dance feel.
